This surcharge will remain in effect for at least 90 days, and will be removed once fuel prices drop below $3.75 for 10 days straight afterward.

Cab driver's have been hit hard by the high prices of gas and spend an average of $20 per shift on gas... Read More

There's a brand new American Idol, and it's 17 year old Scotty McCreery from Garner, North Carolina. The other finalist, 16 year old Lauren Alaina is from Rossville, Ga. It's the first time that the finals have come down to two singers both rooted squarely in the country genre. It's the second time, after Jordin Sparks, that a 17-year-old has won. Some say the two-hour finale had less excitement than in previous years with more commercials than content. And now the summer tour of Idol... Read More

It's been a week since the primary elections ended, and it seems that former school teacher Karen Brown will end up with the GOP nomination for mayor to run against incumbent Democrat Michael Nutter.

She holds a very tight 58 vote lead over John Featherman after city officials completed the latest tally of votes that included absentee ballots. Around 16,500 votes were cast in the GOP primary.

Featherman is not giving up hope. There are still provisional ballots out... Read More
Harold Camping Is Not Backing Down or Giving Back
  by: iradiotom - Philadelphia, PA
started: 05/24/11 1:36 pm | updated: 05/24/11 1:36 pm
Harold Camping is an owner of radio stations and a prominent figure in the broadcast industry.
His blown prediction and continued predictions are a real embarrassment to many in the Christian radio community, who are not saying much.

Camping is still predicting that the world is really going to end on October 21, and as far as he's concerned, Judgment Day did occur on May 21. But God decided not to make people suffer through the next five months.

As for... Read More

  by: iradioal - Philadelphia, PA
started: 05/24/11 1:41 am | updated: 05/24/11 1:41 am
The judgement day that was predicted by Harold Camping and his Family Radio network on billboards and pamphlets around the world came and went with nothing to show for it. Camping said he initially felt so bad that his rapture prediction did not come true that millions of Christians would be taken into heaven on Saturday that he left his home and took refuge in a motel.

But after careful thought and reconsideration, Camping is now saying that he just misunderstood the meaning of... Read More
Rapture 2011....Take 2
  by: Rebel - Havertown, PA
started: 05/23/11 10:29 am | updated: 05/23/11 2:42 pm
May 21, 2011 came and went like any other day of the week. There was no rapture... no end of the world. But members of the eBible fellowship have a new message and date for your calendar.

According to Lester McClendon of Newark, NJ, May 21 was about the end of salvation. From here on in, no one can be saved. His bible leader told him, you have to be patient. God had to work this one out. Mclendon said the new and improved Judgment Day is October 21.
