The 13th annual Roots Picnic goes virtual tonight at 8 pm, Saturday, 6/27. Due to coronavirus COVID-19 concerns, the outdoor festival at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia was cancelled this year. The entire Roots Picnic has been moved online and is Live Streaming tonight for FREE.
Featuring performance by H.E.R., Lil Baby, Roddy Rich, SZA, Kirk Franklin, Snoh Aalegra, D-Nice, Polo G, G Herbo, Musiq Soulchild, Earthgang, and The Roots.
With appearances by Michelle Obama, Janelle Monáe, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, Liza Koshy, Chris Paul, Elaine Welteroth, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Deon Cole, Coach K, Wallo267, and Ghetto Gastro.
