Tickets are available now, including early bird pricing until Jan 30th, details and purchase here folkfest.org.

Philadelphia Folksong Society is taking what they learned from their first virtual festival presented last summer and this February 20 and 21, PFS will once again bring the vibrant music festival experience directly to music enthusiasts' homes to mark the celebration of only six months left in the long wait until the 60th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. Like PFF, Cabin Fever Fest will feature unforgettable original performances from national headliners, international stars, and local talent. Unlike the Festival, it will also feature an emphasis on music workshops and performance opportunities to digitally bring us closer together during these difficult winter months of isolation.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer wanting to strengthen your skills, curious about an instrument or style, want your children to participate in a music lesson, or just want to sing along, ALL attendees will be able to watch these amazing workshops, but only VIP attendees will be able to participate in all of the workshops they choose.

EARLY BIRD Full weekend passes to Cabin Fever Fest are available at the lowest price now until January 30. Just $35 for PFS Members and $40 for Not-Yet-Members. Your ticket gives you full access to the event from February 20 until February 28, to watch at your leisure and convenience. Purchase now, at folkfest.org/buy-tickets/

So as not to miss a single note, ALL ticket purchasers will be able to watch Cabin Fever Fest on demand until February 28th safely from home. PFS is thrilled to offer several attendee purchase options, from VIP tickets to early bird weekend passes, with more details below.

What Do I Get With the VIP Ticket?
The VIP Ticket is for current PFS members only (become a member HERE for as little as $3 a month or $35 a year!) and includes THREE WEEKS of access to select PFS Archives (February 8-28th, 2021), access to participate in any and every workshop and open mic you want, and the opportunity to attend artist meet and greets via zoom! This is an INCREDIBLE VALUE for access to hundreds of hours of music and more!

How Do I Watch?
Tickets provide unlimited access to the Festival on one device at a time via the browser-based Festival (viewable on your phone, tablet, computer, television, projector, or screen of choice – same as the Philadelphia Folk Festival)!

I Attended the Digital Philadelphia Folk Festival – Is It Like That?
Yes! Think of Cabin Fever Fest as just a wintertime Philadelphia Folk Festival! The only difference will be that there will be one stage dedicated to participatory workshops for professional musicians and PFS members alike - with opportunities to learn, play, and/or sing along!

I Didn’t Attend the Digital Philadelphia Folk Festival - How Does This Work?
The Cabin Fever Fest is digital and available for you to watch on one device at a time from the comfort of your home. The event will start on Saturday, February 20th at 10am EST and end on Sunday, February 21st at 9pm EST. You’ll then be able to watch anything you miss on demand for the next week until February 28th!

What are the Workshops?
The workshops will be led by professional musicians and PFS members alike with opportunities for youth and adults to participate "onstage."

Do I Have To Sit In Front Of My Screen All Weekend?
Can't watch the Cabin Fever Fest on a certain day or don't want to be in front of a screen all weekend? NO PROBLEM! Each day of the Fest you purchase will give you access to the concerts for a whole week following the event! For the second time in the history of music festivals (after the 2020 Philadelphia Folk Festival), you can be in two places at once and not miss a single performance of the event: watch any music you may have missed or rewatch your favorites again and again!

About The Bluegrass Situation
The Bluegrass Situation is the world’s largest community for American roots music, culture, and lifestyle. What began as a blog for like-minded Los Angelenos pining for bluegrass in Southern California has morphed and grown over a decade to become an international standard-bearer for all of the things we love about bluegrass within every branch and offshoot of the roots music family tree.

From vibey pop-folk to ravishing alt-country; plus blues, singer/songwriter, Americana, old-time, and everything else above, below, and in between. The Bluegrass Situation proudly represents a unique gathering place, even in during pandemic lockdown, producing virtual events such as online variety show Whiskey Sour Happy Hour, presented by BGS co-founder Ed Helms, and the fifth annual Shout & Shine, a showcase celebrating equity and inclusion in bluegrass. BGS is proud to support and uplift the rich, diverse, and varied history of these musics, while looking ahead with a progressive vision to transform these folkways and traditions into a carefully curated, 21st century lifestyle open to all.
