Kanye West to Join American Idol?

Kanye West might be the next to judge hopeful contestants on American Idol. Reports say that the producers have reached out to him about judging next season. Although he has expressed interest, he has not given a formal answer yet. FOX would probably need to pay hime at least $18 million to match Mariah Carey's judging salary, but have made no comment on whether they would be wiling to do that.

Snoop Dogg changes name to Snoop Lion; Set to release reggae album

Snoop Dogg has dropped the latter half of his name, and along with it, and his music style - in favor of reggae. After spending time in Jamaica, Snoop says that he has found his Rastafarian calling. While there, he met with a High Priest who told him â€œYou are the light; you are the lion.â€ Snoop says that this meeting is what connected all the dots for him, allowing him to understand why he was there.

Frank Ocean will Perform at Union Transfer July 25th, Target Refuses to Carry Channel Orange

This upcoming Wednesday, July 25th, Frank Ocean will be performing at Union Transfer in Philadelphia. The R&B artist released the digital version of his new album Channel Orange on July 10th and released the physical copy on July 17th.

There has been some controversy surrounding the album since Ocean recently admitted to loving a man and expresses this is some of his songs. Bloggers have made hateful comments in response and Target has decided not to stock the album.... Read More

Rapper DMX Hospitalized after Four Wheeler Accident, Album "Undisputed" Scheduled for Release Aug 28

Rapper DMX was in the hospital with a concussion today. He was injured when he fell off of his four-wheeler and crashed down a hill. He apparently flipped and sustained a concussion. He appears to be fine but we do not yet know when he will be released.
