	At this time of New Evangelization, blended families are invited to focus on Jesus Christ, the only way to enduring happiness. Today, families are faced with huge challenges and joys as they strive to fulfill their mission and Christian vocation. While the task of bringing up saints and disciples might seem daunting, the divine help offered by Christ through his Church supports parents. The secret is to develop a personal relationship with Christ — the Unifier, the Healer, the Peace Maker. Participants will discover how blended families are called to sow the joy of belonging to Christ.

	These days it seems as though coarseness has replaced courtship, but there are signs that a new springtime of sexual integrity is dawning. Drawing on personal experience, current data, and the inspiring work of many, Bachiochi tells the curious story of casual sex today. The reality is that fewer people hook up than is perceived; fewer, still, enjoy it. But the hook-up culture remains pervasive and has created a relationship vacuum. Participate in this multimedia presentation to learn more about how young men and women can find long-lasting, fulfilling love.

	Prof. Helen Alvaré - Building a Just Society: Catholic Social Teaching in Your Life

	Social justice is the natural progression of family love. It is not something additional to or outside of it. But what are the links between love within a family and the Christian imperative to follow the example of the Good Samaritan? How is this possible in a busy, distracted, expensive world? At least part of the answer lies in an ongoing examination of conscience and continual conversion according to the lived example of Jesus Christ. It also lies in developing practical habits of living as a man or woman for others.

	Dr. Douglas Farrow - Redefining Marriage: Is It Really Whatever We Say It Is?

	Courts and legislatures in many places are redefining marriage to make it gender neutral in the name of dignity, freedom, and rights. But what really is the logic of same-sex marriage? How does that logic change the way the state views families? How does it change the way the state views itself, its citizens, and the role of religion in society? How should those who regard marriage as belonging to the divine design for human flourishing respond to the claim that the state has the power to redefine marriage, and that the new definition is both just and compassionate?
