A man convicted of third-degree murder in a suburban Philadelphia crash that killed a 9-year-old girl and paralyzed her grandmother has been sentenced to eight to 25 years in state prison. The FBI raided the Philadelphia Sheriff's offices this morning. Agents arrived at the offices at 100 S. Broad around 9:00 am and served a subpoena and executive search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation begun in previous administrations. Agents were seen leaving the building with files and boxed of paperwork. No one was arrested and the Sheriff's department was fully cooperative. By the time of the third day at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware many of the attendees and campers were accustomed to the flow of the event. Sunday morning brought mild sunshine and decent temperatures, a rather drastic change from previous two heated days. The Nutter Administration has decided not to fight last week's order from a city judge for increased payments to the firefighter's union health care fund. Because the Mayor is still appealing the firefighter's 2009 arbitration award, the union last week told a judge that their health care fund was nearly bone dry. The morning of the second day at Firefly awakened the collective festival experience and aura with thousands of campers awaiting what was next in store for the eventful weekend. A family of four was displaced by a row home fire in Philadelphia Tuesday night at the 800 block of East Chelten Avenue in the Germantown section. Firefighters placed the blaze under control about a half hour later. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross says they are responding to help the residents displaced.
