Looking to go to a festival this weekend? Are you trying to go to any festival or one with a purpose? This weekend is the 6th annual 2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties. The main focus of the festival is to raise awareness for the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. Every year over 100 local businesses roll out the street tents and promote their business. All the while there is live music, games, and food!

Sound like fun? I sure think it does. The Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia is one of the fastest up-and-coming neighborhoods. And with the help that this festival brings to the area it will only keep growing.

There will be well over 20 bands on both stages for the event... Music all day long. With a great line up of local indie artists such as Pine Barons, Needle Points, Heights, and many many more!

Plus all types of food, and I don't know about you but nothing makes me happier than food and music... especially for a good cause. Oh... did I mention admission is free? Just show up and check out the bands and vendors maybe buy some awesome food, itâ€™s up to you.

The Festival will be held on Sunday August 3rd from Noon till 10 pm. If will be located on N. 2nd Street between Germantown and Green Streets.
