Music News - Music Alliance Inductees to Walk; New Jenny Lewis Video; Free Chance the Rapper Album

The Philadelphia Music Alliance announced seven new inductees to the Walk of Fame along the Avenue of the Arts. They include jazz legend Billy Holiday, hip hop band The Roots, 80's glam rockers Cinderella, disco/soul group The Trammps, Broadway star Andrea McArdle, Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson, and DJ Harvey Holiday. There will be a formal ceremony and the plaques installed in the sidewalk on October 26th.

Jenny Lewis has released a video for "She's Not Me" off of The Voyager. Fred Armisen, Zosia Mamet, Leo Fitzpatrick, Feist, and Vanessa Bayer star in the restrospective video reprising roles that Lewis herself once had as a child actor in the early 90's. She said, "The video is about former identities and incarnations of one's self, It's a super meta retrospective on my career." Check it out:

Chance the Rapper has released a new album called Surf and it is free on iTunes right now. The album is billed under the artist name Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment so don't get confused, this is the Chicago MC that put out 2013's Acid Rap mixtape. There are plenty of guests on this record including B.o.B., BJ the Chicago Kid, Busta Rhymes, Janelle Monae, J. Cole, Big Sean, Quavo, King Louie, and even Erykah Badu.
