EDM/Dance mastermind Zedd has released a new video for his track "Beautiful Now" off of True Colors. The fast paced clip cuts in between various storylines involving a slice in the life and various emotions in each of the characters' predicaments. There is an old man determined to climb a volcano, a young lesbian flirting with death, and a South American man caught up in a robbery. Zedd also contributes a storyline as a hooligan causing trouble with his friends. We don't get too many answers or closure to their stories, we are just pulled along on a short journey in a moment of their lives. Each of them are experiencing intense but different emotions and we somehow get all of them as we jump back and forth. The message though remains the same to each, “You are beautiful now.”

Legendary jazz saxophonist and composer Ornette Coleman passed away Thursday morning in Manhattan at the age of 85. Coleman started recording in the 1950's. He has since put out dozens of records over the years. He was an immediate innovator and pushed the boundaries of what then was considered jazz challenging structures, chord progressions, and harmonies. His 1959 album The Shape of Jazz to Come and 1960's Free Jazzcreated the avant-garde and coined the free jazz movements. He died of cardiac arrest.
