Last night while performing at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, Ryan Adams performed an acoustic cover of Foo Fighter's "Times Like These" in honor of frontman Dave Grohl. This past May, Adams suffered a broken rib but kept on touring. Similarly, Grohl has forged on after a severely broken leg suffered at a tour date in Sweden last month. Adams admired Grohl for being "able to do what he loved, even though he was totally broken." Watch video of the cover performance below:

Pharrell has released the video for his energetic and powerful new track "Freedom." The video was originally exclusively available on Apple Music but it is now viewable to the world. It is beautifully shot and takes you on a tour around the globe. The video was directed by Paul Hunter. Pharrell sings against a backdrop of juxtaposed images. Some show utter lack of freedom in the form of work camps or sweat shops, other times you see full freedom in the form of birds, whales, horses, and babies. Check out the clip below:

Rapper 50 Cent was in Philadelphia today promoting his new spirit called Effen Vodka. (it means â€œsmooth, even and balancedâ€ in Dutch, not something obscene). The man who recently filed for bankruptcy was signing bottles at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits on Girard Avenue in Northern Liberties. He then headed over the Rumor for a night out at the club promoting the brand. I wonder if it mixes with Vitamin Water?
