On Mumford & Sons latest album Wilder Mind the band explored a more rock and roll sound, ditching the acoustic instruments of their folkier past. On their current tour they pushed that even further adding a cover of the Eurythmics synth-pop "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" to setlists. Tuesday night at the Forum in Inglewood, CA, they were joined on stage by tour openers the Vaccines and Jack Garratt as well as Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus. The Vaccines added synth layers and guitars. Garrett played drum pads. Hoppus played bass and some vocals. It was captured on a fan video. Watch the whole crowded stage and listen to their take on the song below:

Karen O has released a short film for her song "Singalong" off her debut album Crush Song. The clip was directed by Asli Baykal. It features lo-fi footage of strangers in New York City which matches the breezy stripped down guitar and vocals of the song. The clips are all slices of life, everyday glimpses of people on the street. Walking dogs, driving down the street, sitting on a bench, looking at a phone, playing basketball, walking on the sidewalk, eating ice cream. Watch the laid back clip below:

Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile has released a video for the song "Wherever Is Your Heart" off her latest The Firewatcher's Daughter. The video also serves as a trailer for an upcoming documentary of the same name. Last October, Carlisle and longtime partners Tim and Phil Hanseroth embarked on an usual tour. They ditched everything electric, including the PA, and relied on the sonic power of their voices and instruments (and quiet of the audience) to fill the concert halls with music. It was called, appropriately the Pin Drop Tour. They also brought their entire families along (spouses and kids) on the tour bus as a big happy family. Film crews followed along and documented the endeavor. There is no release date yet. Watch the video/trailer below:
