Bruce Springsteen's "The River Tour 2016" rolled through South Philadelphia on Friday night. The Boss alongside the E Street Band played to a sold out crowd at the Wells Fargo Center. In commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the band's fifth studio album and first double LP and in conjunction with it's recent expanded box set release they have been playing The River in its entirely front to back. They started off the evening with an outtake from the 1980 album, "Meet Me In The City," before launching into the 20 track album. Two hours in and the 66-year-old Springsteen is just warming up. He delivered classics such as "Born to Run, "Thunder Road," and "Jungleland" with the late Clarence Clemons' nephew Jake on saxophone. The tour continues in North America through April.
