Haverford Music Festival in Havertown, 9/9, Noon-9:30, 30+ bands, 4 Stages, Live Streaming Broadcast

The 7th Annual Haverford Music Festival returns to Havertown this Saturday, September 9th, from Noon to 9:30 p.m. The festival is FREE and open to everyone, voluntary donations will be accepted at entry points. There will be 4 stages spread throughout the area around the intersection of Darby and Eagle Roads (which will be open to traffic) featuring 30 different musical acts. As usual, there will be food, beer gardens, craft tables, non-profits, and many local business sponsors set up in booths along the street. Children's activities and inflatables will be set up on the Oakmont Field.

A wide variety of music will be showcased on the 4 festival stages including Jazz, Rock, Pop, Childrenâ€™s, Folk, Classical, Blues and Country. Headlining the festival and performing on the Oakmont Field Stage this year will be Matthew Sweet. Best known for his breakout 1991 album Girlfriend, Sweet has been playing and recording since. His latest album, Tomorrow Forever was released in July. Roots/Blues singer-songwriter Danielle Miraglia will perform on the Oakmont Stage before Sweet. The Weeklings will close out the Darby Road Street Stage performing their original, early Beatles-inspired songs. Preceding them will be NBC's The Voice finalist Nadjah Nicole. The WHHS Eagle Road Stage is located in front of the Oakmont School building and run by the high school radio staff. The fourth stage is located inside The Rock, Grace Chapel facility, on Eagle Road.
