Philadelphia Police have made a second arrest in connection to a double stabbing near Chickie's and Pete's sports bar in South Philadelphia earlier this month. 27-year-old Michael Forte has been charged with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and possession of an instrument of crime. He was arrested on Friday morning, 2/14. 29-year-old Carol Leidy was arrested on February 10 and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and other related charges. She is not charged in the stabbing. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday, 2/9, on the 1500 block of Packer Avenue. According to police, a group of friends had just left the bar when Forte and Leidy began to yell at the group. An altercation ensued. Leidy is accused of attacking two women. Forte is accused of attacking and stabbing two men. A 23-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and a 24-year-old man was stabbed three times in the stomach and arm. They suffered critical injuries and were taken to the hospital.

A woman was stabbed on a subway concourse in Suburban Station on Tuesday night, 2/18. It happened just after 7 p.m. on the 1500 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Police arrived and found the woman had been stabbed in the leg. She was transported to the hospital and is expected to be ok. A man was arrested in nearby Love Park. Police believe the woman and the suspect know each other. They had been in an argument prior to the stabbing.

Delaware State Police say that four people were found dead inside a tent in the woods in New Castle County on Tuesday afternoon, 2/18. The discovery was made around 3 p.m. near the Walgreens store on the 500 block of Main Street in Stanton, DE. Foul play is not suspected at this time. The identities of the four adult victims have not been released, but family members have said that they are an uncle, his nephew, his girlfriend, and a friend who were all homeless. The Delaware Division of Forensic Science will be conducting autopsies to determine cause and manner of death. Initial indications are that they might have succumbed to fumes from a propane heater.

UPDATE: The victims have been identified as 62-year-old Joseph Messick, his nephew 36-year-old Sydney Messick, 36-year-old Avelina Demato, and 33-year-old Timothy Cunningham.
