Bill Cosby's Request for Parole Denied; Gymnastics Coach Arrested Child Porn; West Chester Rapist

The Pennsylvania Parole Board ruled earlier this month that Bill Cosby's request for parole has been denied. The decision was made on May 11, but just released to the public on Thursday, 5/27. The board cited three reasons for denying Cosby early released. 1) Failure to participate in and complete a treatment program for convicted sex offenders 2) Negative recommendation from the state Department of Corrections 3) Failure to develop a parole release plan. Cosby's spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, said that the decision was "expected." He said in a statement, "Mr. Cosby has vehemently proclaimed his innocence and continues to deny all allegations made against him, as being false, without the sheer evidence of any proof." Cosby was convicted in 2018 and sentenced to 3-10 years. Two aspects of his trial are under consideration for appeal by the PA Supreme Court.

A Chester County girls gymnastics coach has been arrested after police found him in possession of "hundreds of thousands" of videos and pictures of children being abused sexually. 45-year-old Gary Hutt of Spring City is charged with 200 counts of child pornography. He is a coach at Berks East Gymnastic in Parker Ford. He is currently being held at Chester County Prison on $100,000 bail. Yahoo contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children when they found someone using several different e-mail accounts to upload child pornography. Investigators found the IP address associated with those accounts and traced it to Hutt. They executed a search warrant on his home. Hutt initially denied using all those email addresses, but police found a notebook with all the usernames and passwords written down. Investigators discovered thousands and thousands of videos and pictures on Hutt's laptop. Some of the victims were very young and the acts depicted were vile. The files date from March 2004 â€“ February 2021. If you have any information call Chester County Detective at 610-344-6866.

"The defendant possessed and shared child pornography showing the horrific abuse and dehumanization of scores of children," District Attorney Deb Ryan said. "My office will prosecute his depraved behavior to the fullest extent possible. Through the assistance of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) our detectives were provided with a cybertip that helped lead to the defendant's arrest."

Police in West Chester are searching for 25-year-old Uriel Angeles-Hernandez. He is wanted for two sexual assaults last month. Both attacks happened between midnight and 1 a.m. on Thursday, April 29 around South Matlack and East Nields streets. Angeles-Hernandez is 5' 10" tall, weighs about 140 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
