The Philadelphia 76ers have released their City Edition uniforms for the 2021-22 season. It pays homage to the Spectrum, 'America's Showplace,' which was the team's home from 1967 to 1996. They'll debut on Wednesday, November 3rd. They'll be available to purchase on 11/15. "The Spectrum holds a very special place in our franchise lore, having served as the 76ers' home arena for nearly three decades," Philadelphia 76ers President of Business Operations Chris Heck said in a release Monday. "The memories made at America's Showplace, including the historic 1982-83 championship season, are priceless, and will be relived through the 2021-22 Nike NBA City Edition uniform. We're also excited to display the colors of the Spectrum logo, which represent the teams that our fans love and support here in Philadelphia."

An 81-year-old Delaware County pharmacist is accused of selling prescription narcotics and exchanging the drugs for sex. Martin Brian of Media was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance to a drug-dependent person, the dispensing of a controlled substance in a manner inconsistent with the rules of the medical profession, the criminal use of a communication facility and sexual extortion. The investigation started on April 18 when Media Police found two unconscious individuals parked behind Brian's Murray-Overhill Pharmacy. The DEA reviewed the pharmacy and found it was the largest purchaser of oxycodone, Xanax, and fentanyl in the 19063 zip code. The investigation led authorities to at least two women who told them they met Brian weekly and would exchange sex acts for money and drugs. The pharmacy has been closed since June.

"He was giving out those drugs to people who did not need them, people who were addicted to them, just so he could get what he wanted from them, which was sexual gratification," said Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf told state employees that they would receive 5 days of paid leave if they get fully vaccinated by the end of this year. The state's more than 70,000 employees would receive 5 days of "verification leave" that could be used between 12/20/21 and 3/31/22. Employees that are already vaccinated and have verified their status with the administration would automatically receive the days. If you do not use the days off, you will still be paid for them. "This leave will help incentivize the vaccinations that protect commonwealth employees and the Pennsylvanians we serve," the administration told employees. "It's one more way we can show our gratitude to employees who step up to help us protect our communities and bring this pandemic to an end." Republican Treasurer Stacy Garrity called the plan fiscally irresponsible. It could cost the state more that $100 million.
