Philadelphia Police are searching for three suspects wanted in a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia last month. It happened around 7 a.m. on March 18 on the 2500 block of South Shields Street near Elmwood Avenue. The incident was captured on doorbell camera. The male suspects were seen running southbound on the block firing at a fourth individual. 61 shots were fired in total. The suspects got into a newer model Toyota Prius and fled the scene. No one was injured, but several unattended parked cars were damaged. If you have any information, call Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183 or 215.686.TIPS (8477).

The Montgomery County District Attorney's office announced the bust of a large drug ring that stretched from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. Tyrone Baker, 29, of East Lansdowne; Shakeem Johnson, 27, of Philadelphia; Joshua Quiles, 31, of King of Prussia; Jhamir Winans, 21, of Exton; and Ricky Evans, 28, of Los Angeles were charged as leaders. 83 pounds of meth, 200 bags of fentanyl, more than two dozen guns, and $135,000 in cash were seized. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Department of Homeland Security, Lower Merion Township police and Upper Merion Township police were involved in the yearlong investigation. The suspects used the postal system and private carriers to ship the drugs from LA.

"Montgomery County Detectives and police officers partnered with numerous local, state and federal law enforcement to identify the extent of the illegal activities of this criminal enterprise," Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said. "By partnering with U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Homeland Security Investigations, we were able to track these shipments and interdict significant quantities of methamphetamine that did not reach the region's streets, thereby saving lives."

Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of a shooting incident in the Stenton section last month. It happened on March 11 on the 1900 block of Washington Lane near Limekiln Pike. A gray Nissan Maxima traveling eastbound stopped and let out two men wearing all black. The Nissan then fled. The two men then opened fire on a gold Ford Escape, striking both occupants. The suspects fled through a breezeway towards Mayland St. The Maxima has since been recovered, but the suspects are still at large. If you have any information, call Shooting Investigation Group at 215-686-8271 or 215.686.TIPS (8477).
