| Philadelphia Police are investigating after 5 people were shot and injured during a large block party in North Philadelphia on Saturday night, 8/15. It happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of 10th and Brown Streets. | A South Philadelphia woman has been charged in the death of a teenager whose decomposing body was found in her home earlier this year. 26-year-old Maddison Leidy has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death. Each August as the Earth's annual orbit takes it through the remains of the comet Swift-Tuttle/109P, we are treated to a dramatic show of meteors streaking through the sky called the Perseids.
