| Barges being used by the Army Corps of Engineers to dredge parts of the Schuylkill River broke loose during Tropical Storm Isaias on Tuesday afternoon, 8/4. The three barges, which include one with a crane, are currently wedged under the bridge for the Vine Street Expressway I-676. | Tropical Storm Isaias blasted through the area on Tuesday leaving behind widespread flooding and wind damage. The storm spawned several tornados that caused damage to trees, cars, and buildings in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The National Weather Service is still surveying damage in Doylestown, Bucks County to determine if a tornado touched down in that area. | 7-year-old Zamar Jones, who was shot in the head as he played on his porch on Sunday, 8/2, has died from his injuries. It happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 200 block of North Simpson Street in West Philadelphia. Jones was playing with his toys when he was caught in the crossfire of a shootout between two groups of people. 16 shell casings were found at the scene. He is reportedly asymptomatic and feeling fine. 52-year-old Pederson informed the team at an unscheduled meeting on Sunday. He must now quarantine.
