Bensalem Police have arrested and charged a woman who they say was under the influence when she struck and injured a 12-year-old girl boarding a school bus last month. Kathleen Wesley of Croydon is charged with aggravated assault while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle, recklessly endangering another person, meeting or overtaking a school bus, and reckless driving. The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office says that a woman embezzled over a half-million dollars from a church. 43-year-old Taisha Smith-DeJoseph of Willingboro is charged with computer criminal activity, theft by deception, and tax fraud. Smith-DeJoseph oversaw finances at Saint Paul's Baptist Church in Florence Township. She is accused of taking $561,000 over a 5 year period. Philadelphia Police are searching for three female suspects wanted for attacking another woman and stealing her purse in South Philly last month. It happened around 9 p.m. on January 16 on the 1600 block of S. Broad Street. The incident was captured on surveillance video. A woman has been arrested in connection to a double stabbing outside of Chickie's and Pete's sports bar in South Philadelphia on Sunday night, 2/9. 29-year-old Carol Leidy has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and other related offenses. Police are investigating after two people were stabbed outside of a popular South Philly sports bar on Sunday night, 2/9. It happened around 10 p.m. outside of Chickie's and Pete's on the 1500 block of Packer Avenue. One victim was found at the scene with a stab wound to the abdomen.
