A man has been arrested in connection to the deadly house fire in Buckinham Township, Bucks County, early Sunday morning, 12/5. 61-year-old Christopher Gillies of Dunmore is charged with criminal homicide, attempted homicide, arson, burglary and related charges. It happened around 3:15 a.m. on the 5800 block of Private Drive. 85-year-old Phyllis Drelick was able to escape the blaze, but her husband, 81-year-old Julius Drelick, was trapped upstairs and died. A man was killed after his Bucks County home caught fire early Sunday morning, 12/5. It happened around 3:15 a.m. on the 5800 block of Private Drive in Buckingham. When police and fire personnel arrived, one homeowner was already outside, but told authorities that another person was trapped inside. A man has been charged after killing his girlfriend and going on a shooting spree near the 69th Street Transportation Center in Upper Darby early Thursday morning, 12/2. 45-year-old David Savage is charged with murder, four counts of attempted murder, and four counts of aggravated assault. A teenager turned himself in to Philadelphia Police on Wednesday, 12/1, wanted for shooting a Temple University student on Sunday afternoon, 11/28. 17-year-old Latif Williams surrendered voluntarily with his attorneys after learning of the warrant for his arrest. A Temple University student was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon, 11/28, near his off-campus residence just after returning home from the Thanksgiving break. 21-year-old Samuel Sean Collington of Prospect Park, Delaware County, was shot twice in the chest. Cacia's Bakery in South Philadelphia continued its Thanksgiving tradition this morning. The bakery opens its oven, usually used for breads and pastries, to the community each year to bake their Thanksgiving turkeys. People start lining up before dawn on West Ritner Street with their birds all prepared and wrapped in roasting pans.
