Philadelphia Police are now investigating a shooting that took place at a gentleman's club in South Philadelphia. The incident happened at around 4:15 am at Club Onyx on the 2900 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard on Sunday. The 26-year-old victim told police that she saw an altercation outside, then the suspect walked in the front door and discharged his weapon once through the glass door. Jewish Tombstones Vandalized in Philadelphia Mt. Carmel; 2 Police Die in Crash; Leg Found In River

Hundreds of tombstones were vandalized at a Jewish cemetery in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia. Over 500 tombstones were discovered toppled over at the Mount Carmel Cemetery located at the intersection of Frankford and Cheltenham Avenues in NE Philly. The vandalism was first discovered around 9:30 a.m. when someone coming to visit a family member's grave noticed the damage and called police. Police have begun to investigate and have not yet speculated on a motive.

Manco and Manco Owners Sentenced; Port Richmond Suspicious Death; Vineland Ramada Inn Fire

The owners of Ocean City, NJ's landmark Manco & Manco pizza shops were sentenced today in federal court after pleading guilty to tax evasion charges in 2015. 57-year-old Charles Bangle of Somers Point admitted to evading nearly $92,000 in taxes. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison. His wife, 54-year-old Mary Bangle, was given three months probation for lying to the IRS. They will also owe restitution. The opening date for the brand new Legoland Discovery Center in Plymouth Meeting has been announced. The new attraction will open its doors on April 6th. Last week they announced that Boathouse Row would be one of the Philadelphia landmarks to get the Lego treatment in the MINILAND attraction. An Amber Alert for a 6-year-old Bridgeport, Connecticut girl has been canceled and the child has been found safe. Pennsylvania State Police found 6-year-old Aylin Sofia Hernandez and her father 39-year-old Oscar Hernandez on I-99 in Centre County, Pa. after a crash around 11 a.m. Friday. A Philadelphia doctor has pled guilty to peddling prescription drugs from a now closed Philadelphia clinic that specialized in helping those addicted to drugs. 78-year-old Dr. Alan Summers pled guilty in federal court on Wednesday. Officials say that Summers and two other doctors that worked at the clinic sold around $5 million worth of controlled substance prescriptions to both drug dealers and addicts. Pennsylvania's Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced on Wednesday the potential estimate for the legal costs associated with former AG Kathleen Kane's court case. Shapiro appeared at a state senate budget hearing on Wednesday and stated that an estimated $3.6 million went into Kane's legal fees, including more than half of it to an outside law firm review of tawdry emails. NASA and a team of Belgian astronomers announced on Wednesday that they have discovered 7 Earth-sized planets orbiting a single star. Those planets may also have the right conditions to support life. The seven planets orbit a star called Trappist-1 which is a cool dwarf star 40 light years away.
