| Authorities have discovered the speed limit of the New Jersey Transit train that crashed into the Hoboken Station last week that left one woman dead and hundreds injured. The train was traveling at a speed of 8 mph then sped up for about 30 seconds before reaching 21 mph, which is double the speed limit for entering a station. Police say a woman was shot and killed Wednesday night in the West Kensington section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened around 7:30 pm on the 100 block of East Sterner Street. The victim was a 47-year-old woman, who was shot in the head, neck and shoulder. When Police arrived she was pronounced dead on the scene. The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived, but they say the woman was not the intended target.

Right now it is still a Category 4 hurricane and it is approaching the Bahamas. | Police are now searching for a man who is believed to be involved in a hit and run incident that happened in North Philadelphia. The hit and run happened last month outside of Carnell Elementary.
