The Office of the Mayor has issued an advisory for a series of permanent road closures due to the Democratic National Convention being held in Philadelphia this week.
Secret Service Restrictions
From noon on Saturday, July 23 until late evening on Friday, July 29 the following permanent street closures will be in effect:

At least 9 people have been killed and more injured after several gunmen opened fire near a shopping mall in Munich, Germany, on Friday evening. German police are looking for three gunman, who are still on the loose, after gunfire erupted at a McDonald's across the street from the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum Shopping Mall around 6 p.m. local time. Organizers of the Democratic National Convention offered a sneak peak of a transformed Wells Fargo arena and stage on Friday, three days before the convention starts. Around the arena, 10-foot-long bags with thousands of inflated balloons sat waiting to be hung, producers milled about, and a police K9 took a lap around the blue carpeted floor. USDA is no longer allowing school cafeterias to advertise unhealthy foods to students. As a result of this new rule, school cafeterias across the country are going to look entirely different this upcoming fall. Many of them will have to change their breakfast and lunch menus in order to properly benefit student's health.
