A Coatesville man was arrested and charged after police say he threw a large rock at the windshield of a police car intentionally. Authorities say he followed that up by attacking the officer driving the vehicle with the rock. The incident took place on Monday around 1:50 p.m. Officials say Officer Jared Davis was on patrol in his marked vehicle on the 500 block of East Lincoln Highway. Marion Campbell, who played on the Eagles' 1960 championship team and later became their head coach for three seasons, passed away Wednesday in Plano, Texas. Campbell, whose nickname was the "Swamp Fox," was the Defensive Coordinator for Dick Vermeil and then succeeded Vermeil as head coach. Marion Campbell was 87. Parking restrictions in South Philly have been announced for the upcoming Democratic National Convention coming in about a week. The road closures are far less restrictive that last year's Papal Visit though. You had better move your car off that median, seriously.
