Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, and Philly's own DJ Jazzy Jeff will perform at a special concert on the final day of the Democratic National Convention next month. The concert will be held across the river at BB&T Pavilion and is being billed as "Camden Rising." Four more retailers announced they will join the King of Prussia Mall once a new, 155,000-square-foot addition debuts in August. Oliver Peoples, a high-end sunglass and eyewear store; Bottega Veneta, an Italian brand that sells mens and women's fashion as well as leather handbags; along with Rag & Bone and Calligaris. The addition, connecting the Mall to the Gallery, is scheduled to open on Aug. 18th.

Police have charged 41-year-old Paul Kuzan with the murder of his wife, 42-year-old Pamela Nightlinger, on Sunday in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened in their home on the 3100 block of Willits Road around 9:30 p.m. The couple, who had just been married on June 17th, had been arguing. A federal jury has entered a $2.3 million judgment against the Philadelphia School District and late Superintendent Arlene Ackerman, finding she discriminated against a Bucks County company by steering a $7.5 million no-bid contract to a smaller, minority-owned firm that had not sought the work. Ikea is recalling millions of dressers that can tip over and are being blamed for the deaths of three children. The dressers have been known to fall over if they are not fastened to the wall, and the issue was already linked to the death of two toddlers that spurred Ikea to launch a repair program in July 2015. Folcroft Officer Christopher Dorman was released this afternoon from Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in West Philadelphia just three days after being shot seven times. Dorman was greeted by a line of officers and a cheering crowd as he was wheeled to an awaiting SUV and a motorcade back to the Folcroft Fire Co.
