The Democratic National Convention Committee moved all of its operations into the Wells Fargo Center today ahead of next month's convention. At this point in the preparations they are in the process of converting the Center into a state of the art political convention arena. The Chester County Health Department has been notified of the county's first confirmed case of Zika Virus by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This case involves a Chester County woman who is not pregnant. She had recently traveled to an area affected by mosquitoes carrying the Zika Virus. The woman was not hospitalized and has recovered, according to the Chester County Health Department.

The state House has sent the Senate a bill that would ban elective abortions after 20 weeks. The bill passed with bi-partisan support, but Governor Wolf opposes it. In addition to a ban on elective abortion after 20 weeks, instead of the current 24, also banned would be what the language of the bill calls "dismemberment" abortion. The sponsor of the bill is Warren County Republican Kathy Rapp.

A Bucks County couple is expected in court, Tuesday morning, on charges of abusing their two-month-old twin daughters. The parents are Melissa Shales, 25, and her husband Michael, 30. They face felony child abuse charges, including aggravated assault, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of children. One of the baby girls had a broken leg that was so bad, doctors said she could've died. Police say doctors found indications of prior fractures on the other infant.
