| The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has announced the arrest of a Galloway Township man for the shooting death of a Mays Landing man Monday night. Police and emergency crews responded to a home on the 5900 block of Elmhurst Drive in Mays Landing after a 9-1-1 call came in at 7:29 pm. A photo of two Philadelphia cops asleep in their squad car circulated on social media over the weekend. The men (pictured) were so fast asleep they had no idea the photographer snapped the shot. | Philadelphia Police are describing the double-murder on Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park on Friday as a 'crime of passion.' Investigators say that 25-year-old Shakoor Arline and 32-year-old Lisa Smith were having a sexual encounter in the back seat of an SUV when someone opened the door and fired 9 shots, all of them to the head. The Yellow Ribbon program is designed to help veterans continue their education. It covers most, if not all, college expenses and can help veterans transition from the military to civilian life. 27-year-old Ian Williams is an Army Veteran, who left the army in June 2013 and was enrolled at Drexel through the Yellow Ribbon program that fall.
