A suspect is dead after attempting to carjack a victim in East Germantown on Saturday afternoon, 12/5. It happened after 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of CVS on the 6300 block of Stenton Avenue. A 20-year-old man approached a 59-year-old man sitting in his car and tried to rob him and take the car. A struggle ensued. The victim yelled for help. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced the relegation of two worship sites, one in Philadelphia and one in Delaware County. Immaculate Conception Church (Philadelphia), will no longer serve as a worship site of Saint Michael Parish, and will close as a Roman Catholic church. Temple University has settled with the U.S. Department of Education for $700,000 after it was accused of submitting falsified information to U.S. News & World Report to boost the rankings of the Fox School of Business and Management’s online MBA program. In the agreement, Temple admits no wrongdoing over the allegations and is absolved from any future civil suits from the education department. A 19-year-old was shot and killed inside a takeout restaurant in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood early Saturday morning, 12/5. It happened at the Natural Chinese and American takeout restaurant at North 8th Street and Lindley Avenue. The teen was shot several times in the chest, neck, and leg. A man has been arrested in connection to a number of attempted kidnappings in PA and NJ. 58-year-old Kent William Powe was arrested on Thursday morning, 12/3, outside his home on the 200 block of Jackson Avenue in Collingdale, Delaware County. The owner of a Plymouth Township, Montgomery County nail salon is being held for trial accused of sexually assaulting a minor. James Kit Vong is charged with aggravated indecent assault and other related charges. It happened in July at Artisan Nails on the 200 block of Ridge Pike in Conshohocken. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court heard an appeal on Tuesday, 12/1, of the sexual assault conviction of Bill Cosby. The 83-year-old entertainer has served two years of a 3-10 year sentence. The proceedings were held online and Cosby was not present. At question was trial Judge Steven T.
