| A suspect is dead after attempting to carjack a victim in East Germantown on Saturday afternoon, 12/5. It happened after 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of CVS on the 6300 block of Stenton Avenue. A 20-year-old man approached a 59-year-old man sitting in his car and tried to rob him and take the car. A struggle ensued. The victim yelled for help. | Temple University has settled with the U.S. Department of Education for $700,000 after it was accused of submitting falsified information to U.S. News & World Report to boost the rankings of the Fox School of Business and Management’s online MBA program. A 19-year-old was shot and killed inside a takeout restaurant in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood early Saturday morning, 12/5. It happened at the Natural Chinese and American takeout restaurant at North 8th Street and Lindley Avenue. The teen was shot several times in the chest, neck, and leg.
