Flyers win Atlantic Division title, head to playoffs against Sabres |

The Flyers have won the Atlantic Division for the first time in seven years, and are the second seed in the East going into the playoffs after today's 7-4 win over the Islanders to close out the season. They'll meet the Buffalo Sabres in the first round starting Thursday.

Remember the Holy Family college basketball player who made headlines because his coach knocked him over during a practice drill? Well Matthew Kravchuck was arrested at a Phillies game for stealing two beers from a concession stand and now faces felony charges because of his prior offenses. About 300 people, primarily high school students, rallied outside School District headquarters and marched to City Hall to protest against expected education budget cuts and to demand arts and music programs are saved.
