iradiophilly is proud to be back broadcasting LIVE from 7th Annual PHL Live Center Stage Showcases 2022. The event was put on hold for two years due to the pandemic. iradiophilly broadcast each of the 10 genre showcases in October/November, and the FINAL Award Show at World Cafe Live! in December. PHL Live Center Stage is a talent showcase/music competition held annually by Philadelphia City Councilperson David Oh. Artists/bands/musicians from the Philadelphia area enter their submissions between September and October. Judges select 5 finalists in 10 different genres to perform live at showcases throughout the city. One winner is chosen from each showcase. They get $1,000 and other prizes. Winners are announced at a Final Awards show. There is also a Peoples choice award chosen online by fans. The genres are Rock, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Country/Folk, Classical, Jazz, World, Gospel, and DJ.
