A new study shows drivers not only continue to text and drive, but also admit to doing all sorts of other smartphone activities while driving. The new survey from AT&T found motorists are checking social media, surfing the web and video chatting while behind the wheel. Nearly four in ten of those surveyed say they go on social media while driving. Foo Fighters had the bittersweet honor of performing on the finale of The Late Show with David Letterman last night. Letterman explained that following his open-heart surgery in 2000, he had requested Foo Fighters be the musical guest on his first show back and that they play "Everlong." They obliged by canceling tour dates just to be there in NYC. His favorite band donned tuxedos and returned to the stage one last time to play that song again behind clips from the past 33 years.... Police are investigating after 18 guns were stolen from a gun shop in Collingdale early Thursday morning. The burglary happened just after 4 a.m. at the Suburban Armory gun store on the 1000 block of MacDade Boulevard. Three to four suspects kicked out the front glass window. They then smashed glass cases and grabbed the handguns - including both semiautomatics and revolvers. They tried to get to the rifles and shotguns on the wall but they are secured with a cable. Two brothers charged with killing Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson during a shootout inside a video game store each struck the officer with a potentially lethal shot, according to the DA at the suspects preliminary hearing yesterday. Jim Kenney won the Philadelphia Democratic Primary in convincing fashion yesterday putting Kenney in position to become Philadelphia’s next mayor. Kenney got more than twice the votes as second place finisher, Anthony Williams. Lynne Abraham, only the second woman to make a run at Mayor finished with 8% of the vote. Milton Street finished last with 2% of the vote.
