Philadelphia Flyers Announce 3 Finalists for New Goal Song; Vote Now! |

The Philadelphia Flyers have narrowed down the list of potential new 'goal songs' to three finalists. Fans submitted more than 4,000 suggestions and nominations in the initial rounds. Different goal celebration songs were tried out at the Wells Fargo Center during preseason games to come up the three finalists. Fans now have a chance to participate in the final selection process by ranking the three songs from favorite to least favorite. The players will also have input in this process. Read More |

The 76ers fan who dumped popcorn on Washington Wizards star Russell Westbrook during last night's playoff game at the Wells Fargo Center has had his season tickets revoked and is indefinitely banned from all events at the WFC. It happened in the 4th quarter as Westbrook was walking back through the tunnel after injuring his ankle. The fan reached over and dumped a box of popcorn on Westbrook's head. Villanova Men's Basketball paused basketball operations for a second time due to coronavirus COVID-19 issues on Monday, 1/4, for at least a 10-day quarantine. The Wildcats next three games have been postponed including Tuesday, 1/5, at DePaul; Friday, 1/8, vs. Marquette; and Wednesday, 1/13, at Xavier. The Philadelphia 76ers announced the full coaching staff. Dave Joerger, Sam Cassell and Dan Burke are assistant coaches to Doc Rivers. Popeye Jones, Eric Hughes and Brian Adams will also be assistants on the coaching staff. Pete Dominguez will be a coaching associate. Todor Pandov was named assistant coach/performance director.
The Sixers also released the 20/21 City edition uniform. The black uniform with red and blue trim takes inspiration from Boathouse Row.

Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson has tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19. He is reportedly asymptomatic and feeling fine. 52-year-old Pederson informed the team at an unscheduled meeting on Sunday. He must now quarantine. Another staffer who was in close contact with him was also sent home.
Pederson will be allowed to rejoin the team at training camp, according to NFL protocols:
