Last night while performing at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, Ryan Adams performed an acoustic cover of Foo Fighter's "Times Like These" in honor of frontman Dave Grohl. This past May, Adams suffered a broken rib but kept on touring. Similarly, Grohl has forged on after a severely broken leg suffered at a tour date in Sweden last month. Adams admired Grohl for being "able to do what he loved, even though he was totally broken." Watch video of the cover performance below:

Philadelphia's own Kurt Vile has released the video for the first track off his upcoming album b'lieve i'm goin down called "Pretty Pimpin." The video itself was filmed in California and plays like a visual round as Vile's character starts to double and triple as the song evolves. Musically, "Pimpin'" has more of a driving groove that rolls along through track than his last album which was more atmospheric. The 54th Annual Philadelphia Folk Fest is only about three weeks away starting Thursday night, August 13th for campers and really kicking into gear Friday-Sunday August 14th -16th with music programmed on multiple stages. The Black Eyed Peas are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year with members will.i.am, Taboo, and Apl.de.Ap (Fergie did not join until 2002). They've just released a music video for a track called "Yesterday" which features the three original members digging through the racks of a record store pulling out albums that have been influential to the group. The album covers become animated with the guys from BEP appearing in the album art instead of the original artist.

Arcade Fire will release a feature film called The Reflektor Tapes in theaters worldwide on September 24th. The film was directed by 2013 Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Short Films winner Kahlil Joseph.
