Two armed suspects are still on the loose after a home invasion and murder on Friday in Bucks County. Authorities have provided some additional details about the crime since yesterday. Two masked men entered the house in Hilltown Township through a first floor window around 6 am. They tied up Joseph Canazaro, his girlfriend, and his 12 year old boy while they searched the house for valuables. They took several weapons from Canazaro's collection. At some point during the invasion Canazaro was separated from the other two. Around 10:00 am the woman and boy were able to escape and make it to a nearby business to call Police. When Police arrived at the house they found Canazaro dead and the two men had taken off with his black pickup truck and several of his weapons. That truck was found later in the day on Friday, abandoned in a Quakertown shopping center next to a dumpster. Both the truck and dumpster have been taken in for processing, but no weapons were found.

"The residence here was targeted," said Hilltown Township Police Chief Chris Engelhart. "This is not a random act."

An autopsy was completed on Canazaro on Saturday afternoon, but authorities are not releasing the results stating that this is still an ongoing investigation. Canazaro is a local businessman who owns several properties in Bucks County. He also works as the vice president of the company that owns Finn McCool's Tavern in Ambler which is undergoing reconstruction. The large house and property on Swartley Road where the crime took place was rented by the couple. The two suspects are described as a Latino man about 5-foot-9 and a smaller Asian man wearing a black jacket and cargo pants. They are both still at large.

FBI and ATF officials have joined the local authorities. It is very rare for a murder to happen in Hilltown Township and for this type of investigation that follows. Authorities are searching for both the perpetrators and their motives.

It has been discovered that Joseph Canazaro was about $10 million in debt and filed for bankruptcy in 2008. Canazaro owed money to banks and the government, and he owed hundreds of thousands of dollars to several casinos. His debts included lawsuits, back taxes, and bounced checks. It's unclear if his finances played a role in his murder.
