An alleged drug dealer who taunted law enforcement on social media to catch him, calling himself the "gingerbread man" (like the nursery rhyme), has been arrested. Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman says that 21-year-old Mark William Gross was taken into custody on February 25th. Lansdale Police Officers working on the Local Drug Task Force observed a drug transaction last October and a warrant was isssued for gross in December 2012. When the Lansdale Police and Montgomery County DA issued a press release on February 20 asking for the public's help in locating Gross, the suspect turned to social media posting this taunt: “im not turnin my self….run run as fast as u can u cant catch me im da ginger bread man……sincierly da gingerbread man.” Gross was arrested after police observed a man in a vehicle resembling the suspect. He was apprehended after a short foot chase in which he tossed several bags of heroin. Gross is charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and related offenses. He failed to post bail and has been remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Investigators have a strong person of interest in the murder of a community leader in the Cobb's Creek section of Philadelphia late Wednesday night. 55-year-old Gregory Scott was shot just steps from his home as he was exiting his car returning from work. Scott is a father of five, a community activist, and helped recovering drug addicts. Police believe an arrest is imminent. The person of interest is only said to be a relative and that the victim and this person had an altercation earlier in the evening. Scott was ambushed by someone waiting for him to arrive on the 200 block of Millick Street then shot in the head and chest; he was pronounced dead at 11:30 pm. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.

UPDATE: 47-year-old James Scott has been arrested and charges related to the murder have been filed. James Scott and Gregory are cousins. The two had a physical altercation early in the night. "The two cousins have had bad blood between them that's gone back through the years," said Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark. James came to Gregory house with a gun and waited for him to arrive home from work when he ambushed and shot him. 25-year-old James Hiller has also been arrested and charged. A vigil for the victim was held Thursday evening on Millick Street

A Wilmington, DE police officer has been arrested for bigamy and forgery. 45-year-old Wilbur Justice married a woman last September, however he was already married to another woman since August 2008. A background investigation on Justice revealed the two marriages. On his 2012 marriage license, he indicated that he was not married. The officer has been suspended without pay pending an investigation.

A body has been found in the Cobb's Creek section of Philadelphia. The unidentified male was discovered in a wooded area near Daggett Street and Race Street at around 2:20 pm. An investigation is ongoing.
