Rapper French Montana and entourage spent most of last night being questioned by Philadelphia police after a shooting outside their tour bus left 1 dead and 1 injured. However, investigators don't believe that the Moroccan born, Bad Boy Records recording artist was targeted or involved in the incident. He tweeted, "My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took plac last night in Philadelphia. I had a peaceful concert and was not involved" French Montana doesn't seem to be phased either, focused on continuing his “Excuse My French” tour in anticipation of his debut album due to be released May 21st. Montana said, "I ain't got no worries."

After French Montana's Thursday night show at the TLA (Theatre of the Living Arts) on South Street, he and members of his entourage, the Coke Boys, plus Philly's own Meek Mill boarded the tour bus and headed to the Holiday Inn Express on Columbus Blvd and Race St. A crowd of fans gathered near the bus when it pulled up around midnight, when a black four-door sedan drove by and a passenger shot into the crowd. Two people in the crowd returned fire toward the car.

26-year-old Jowann King of Flushing, NY, was hit in the abdomen and pronounced dead at Hahnemann University Hospital. Another 28-year-old man from New York was hit in the shoulder and is in stable condition at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Police detained and interviewed many people at the scene, including Montana and his entourage. They were questioned throughout the night and into Friday morning before being released. Authorities say that he has been very cooperative in the process. At this time they do not have any suspects and do not know who was the target of the shooting. Three people were taken into custody for carrying guns.

"It's just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you're gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. Don't know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what," said Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. "...When you find people like that, they should just never see the light of day again. I mean that kind of behavior's just unacceptable. For me, there's just no rehabilitation for anything like that," Ramsey said.

Montana was supposed to have a concert Friday night near Boston, MA but that show was canceled. The tour will resume in New York City on March 4th. He tweeted, “My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the families of the victims, as well as all of those who were affected."

Last month in Las Vegas, a shooting and fiery crash on the Las Vegas strip ended with three dead and five injured. That incident followed an argument in the valet area of the Aria resort. It happened to be the same night that French Montana was playing Aria's Haze nightclub.

Police are asking for the public's help. There were several hundred people around at the time of the shooting. Anyone with information should come forward.
