A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for most of the region starting tomorrow and lasting through early Thursday morning. We can expect a mix of precipitation to begin on Wednesday morning. Snow will mix with rain at times throughout most of the day. As the afternoon progresses it will change back to all snow, it will be a heavy wet snow that will leave a slushy accumulation. Temperatures will be mainly above freezing so treated surfaces should remain clear for most of the day. The major impacts of this storm will come from the high winds, 20-30mph with gusts to 50mph and higher near the shore. The winds combined with heavy snow on branches could cause power outages. Onshore winds may cause flooding along the coast. Expect 3-5 inches of snow accumulation by Thursday morning.

This morning a man and a woman led police on a wild chase from Camden to North Philadelphia, stealing not one but two police cruisers along the way. It started when a Camden officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation at Haddon Avenue and Federal Street in front of the Camden Police Headquarters. Two people not connected with the stop jumped into the stopped cop car for some reason and took off, striking the officer on the way. They drove over the Ben Franklin Bridge and into Philadelphia, where Philadelphia officers pursued them until they crashed at 7th and Norris Streets. The male suspect was injured and taken into custody at that point. However, the female was somehow able to get into another police vehicle and speed off. The chase through North Philly was reckless; the female nearly hitting pedestrians and damaging parked cars. The cruiser was eventually damaged and unable to continue. The woman was taken into custody at 1100 N. Hope Street. The young couple has been identified by law enforcement as Blake Bills and Shayna Sykes, both 23, from Macungie, PA. According to Facebook, the two are recently engaged and have a brand new baby daughter. (Photos below) Drug use is suspected and a contributing factor. They are facing a variety of charges including resisting arrest, DUI and risking catastrophe.

An Upper Merion man is seeking access to his mother's estate to pay for his defense. However, Joseph McAndrew, 25, is the one accused of murdering his parents and twin brother inside their Gulph Mills home two years ago. Susan McAndrew's estate is worth around $1 million, and Jospeh believes he should have access to those monies to pay for his private counsel and psychiatrists. Montgomery County prosecutor Nathan Schadler said the state will be fighting this motion. McAndrew is charged with first and third degree murder for allegedly using a sword to stab his parents and twin brother. He is currently receiving psychiatric treatment at Norristown State Hospital.
