A Hillsbourgh, Somerset County, New Jersey woman has been missing for two days. Paige Aiello is a senior communications major at The College of New Jersey in Ewing and captain of the tennis team. Her purse, cellphone and car keys were found along the south walkway of the George Washington Bridge by a passerby on Tuesday at 8pm. Her parents reported her missing after the passerby called them Tuesday. Authorities recovered her car in a parking garage in New Brunswick near the train station. New York harbor police have searched the waters of the Hudson River but did not find anything. Aiello was last seen at her parent's home at around 1pm on Tuesday. Today, Thursday is her 22nd birthday. She is set to graduate in May and has been accepted into multiple law schools. If you have seen Aiello, contact the Hillsborough Police at 908-369-4323.

Chester County prosecutors will seek the death penalty in the case of the murder-arson of a Norristown teen. Shakeem Carter, 20, is accused of stabbing 17-year-old Kevin Allen to death and then setting the body on fire in a North Coventry apartment in February. Carter went with Allen to his father's apartment so he could pick up $350 left for him for new clothes. When they got there, Carter stabbed Allen more than 20 times then doused the body in vegetable oil before setting it on fire. SEPTA bus surveillance captured the two on the trip out, but only Carter on his way home to Norristown wiping his hands and counting a stack of money. He is charged with murder, arson, robbery, and related offenses.

A double shooting in Grays Ferry has put one man in the hospital and another saved from injury by his belt buckle. The incident happened on the 2700 block of Dickinson Street. Two police officers on patrol heard gun shots and saw an armed suspect. They chased him to the 1400 block of S. Newkirk Street and placed him in custody. The gun was found on a nearby porch. The first gun shot victim was hit in the abdomen and taken to Upenn. Miraculously the second victim, 38-year-old Bienvenido Reynoso, escaped injury. The shopkeeper was hit by a bullet that travelled through the store window and lodged in his belt buckle (see picture below), missing his body by millimeters. The gunman was identified as 24-year-old Edward Lyons, was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
