State Police searching for a man accused of ambushing troopers outside their barracks earlier this month have found two pipe bombs in the Pennsylvania woods on Tuesday. Lt. Col. George Bivens said the bombs were not deployed but were fully functional with trip wires and fuses and capable of significant damage. 31-year-old Eric Frein has been on the run since killing one trooper and wounded another outside the Blooming Grove barracks on September 12th. Authorities have been on the manhunt after discovering Frein's car submerged in a swamp a few miles from the barracks a couple of days after the attack. They believe he is hiding in the dense forest and rugged terrain and have found several structures where they believe he stayed and several other objects he has discarded. Bow hunting season is set to begin this weekend and hunters may be restricted, but should also keep an eye out for anything that may have been tampered with by Frein.

Actor/Comedian Tracy Morgan responded today to allegations made yesterday by Wal-Mart in his lawsuit over a crash this June on the New Jersey Turnpike that killed one of his friends and seriously injured others including himself. Wal-Mart claimed in court on Monday that Morgan and company's injuries were "caused, in whole or in part, by plaintiffs' failure to properly wear an appropriate available seat belt restraint device.” They said that the damages were not caused by Wal-Mart or any of their affiliated employees but theres a possibility that injuries "may have been caused by third parties over whom Walmart had no control." Morgan's limo bus was slammed into from behind by a Wal-Mart truck driven by a driver who may have not slept in over 24 hours. It suffered extensive damage and was overturned. Fellow comedian, Jimmy Mack, was killed. Morgan suffered rib and leg injuries.

Tracy Morgan's statement:
”After I heard what Walmart said in court I felt I had to speak out. I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong. I want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time. I love you all. I'm fighting hard every day to get back."

A Pennsylvania State Trooper was injured late this afternoon by an accidental gun discharge at a county owned range in Montgomery County. It happened around 4:45 pm at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus in Conshohocken on the 1100 block of Conshohocken Road. The trooper was airlifted to a Philadelphia hospital. No word on their condition. The gun range is used almost exclusively by law enforcement personnel. The campus provides classrooms and facilities for fire, EMS, and law enforcement training. All Fire and EMS training was cancelled at the Montgomery Training Campus.

Update 7:40 pm:A county official says that the trooper has died after being airlifted to Temple University Hospital. The trooper has been identified as 26-year-old David Kedra. He is from Troop K barracks in Skippack. He may have been shot in the chest by an instructor during a training exercise. The investigation is ongoing.

Tonight,
Partly Cloudy, temperatures in the mid/upper 60's this evening in Center City.
