Radnor Township Police are searching for three suspects after a Villanova University student was stabbed during an altercation after leaving a Main Line bar. Police believe they have identified two of the three attackers following tips from the public, but are still investigating. It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, October 6th. The male victim and a female friend had just left Kelly's Taproom on Lancaster Ave in Bryn Mawr. They were walking down Prospect Ave towards the 900 block of County Line Road when the suspects began to verbally harass the female. The male told his friend to run and the verbal altercation turned into a physical confrontation. The victim was stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital where he remains in stable condition. The suspects fled. The first suspect is described as a black male, early 20s, 6' 2", thin build with white shirt, black jeans, white shoes, clean shaven, with dreadlocks. He was also reported to be wearing a navy blue "Balenciaga" jacket. The second suspect is described as a black male, mid 20s, 5' 8", medium build with a clean goatee, dark shirt, and dark pants. The third suspect is described as a black male, early 20s, 5' 7", clean shaven, with glasses, wearing a hooded sweatshirt. Villanova University did send out an alert to students, faculty, and staff making them aware of the incident that happened off campus. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 610-688-0500. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to and arrest and conviction. You can see surveillance footage of the suspects below.

The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia has announced that former Vice President Joe Biden will be presenting the 30th annual Liberty Medal at next month's ceremony. Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush are this year's recipients. "Our democracy depends upon the embrace of high ideals and civic responsibility, and there’s no finer example of citizenship than our veterans," former President Bush said in a statement. "Laura and I are honored to dedicate this award from the National Constitution Center to the men and women who have defended and upheld the rights and freedoms enshrined in our Constitution." The Liberty Medal ceremony will be held on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.

Queen Latifah will no longer be accepting this year's Marian Anderson Award due to personal reasons. The award gala at the Kimmel Center scheduled for November 20th will be moved to a new date. All single tickets will be honored at the new time. Details will be announced shortly. Queen Latifah was announced as the recipient of the 20th annual award back in August. Mayor Kenney said at the time, "Queen Latifah is someone who can do it all. She is a musician, an actress, a media mogul, an author and an entrepreneur. Queen Latifah has broken down barriers in the music industry and has shown the world that a female entertainer can be just as successful as any man. And that's not all, she is also very active in the community and supports a number of worthwhile causes."

The Marian Anderson Award will be rescheduling its 2018 Marian Anderson Award Gala originally scheduled for November 20, as Queen Latifah is unable to accept this year due to personal reasons. We look forward to honoring her in the future. A new date and other details will be announced shortly. Single tickets for the November 20 Gala Concert will be honored on the new date. If you have any questions, please email patronservices@ticketphiladelphia.org, or call the Kimmel Center Box Office at 215-893-1999 (open daily from 10am to 8pm). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.
