Philadelphia City Councilman Bill Green has posted a downloadable spreadsheet showing property owners how they are likely to be affected by Mayor Nutter's property tax proposal. Green is suggesting the tax burden be shifted to commercial properties. The spreadsheet is available at www.GreenForPhiladelphia.com

A Philadelphia Police Officer was arrested for stealing from a toy store. Internal Affairs conducted an investigation and arrested 48 year old Bridgette Paris alleging she engaged in an on-going conspiracy of theft from the store. The 14 year veteran will be suspended with intent to dismiss.

Monsignor William Lynn begins his defense in the clergy abuse trial today. Charged with endangering victims by leaving predator priests in service, Lynn’s attorney calls the charges “absurd.” Monsignor Lynn may take the stand himself.

Sports
Tonight, the Phillies send Roy Halladay to the mound against the Nationals.
