Child Stuffed in Washing Machine, Tax Free Airplanes, Comcast Joins Free Wifi Plan

It was a game of peek-a-boo gone wrong. In a Camden County Laundromat, a dad stuffed a 1 year old in a washing machine, closed the door and dizzying mayhem followed. The child was locked in as the machine spun and filled with water. The entire incident was captured on video. A worker cut the power and removed the child unharmed.

Thinking about buying an airplane? Pennsylvania is considering a bill that would extend sales tax exemptions for plane purchases and maintenance. Proponents say the measure will help keep the work in PA, but opponents say it just isn’t fair.

Comcast is pursuing a plan to team up with other cable giants to offer free Wifi everywhere in the US by creating 50,000 hot spots across the country. Comcast already has more than 4,000 hotspots between Philadelphia and the Jersey shore. Cable companies have been losing TV viewers to internet streaming of videos.
