Suspect Identified in P.Y.T. shooting in Northern Liberties late Sunday night

Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting that killed 25-year-old Maurice Kimble from Upper Darby outside the PYT restaurant in Northern Liberties Sunday night.

Authorities are looking for Steven Miller, 22, of Philadelphia. He’s described as a black male, 6-feet-tall, about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes and has a tattoo on his left forearm.

A disagreement occurred at the PYT bar/restaurant at The Piazza at Schmidt's around midnight Sunday/Monday. The gunman and victim took the fight outside when Kimble was multiple times on Hancock Street next to the restaurant. Kimble was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died around 2:30am Monday morning from his injuries. Miller fled the scene along with others.
