Kanye West to play Ovation Hall @ Revel Atlantic City in July

Kanye West has announced he'll be performing two nights in Atlantic City at the brand new Revel casino. The dates will be July 6th and 7th at Ovation Hall, bookending the 4th of July holiday week perfectly. West is currently in Europe on his "Watch the Throne" tour and these two AC dates will be his first back in the States and his first solo performance since Coachella 2011.

Kanye West released a film "Cruel Summer" at the Cannes Film Festival on May 23rd during his European tour. A G.O.O.D. collaborative studio album of the same name is expected to be released shortly. The first single, "Mercy", featuring West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz was released April 6th, with a video on June 6th. It wouldn't be surprising to see Kanye joined on stage next month by a variety of guests in promotion of this impending album.

Revel's Ovation Hall, designed by Cirque du Soleil veterans Scèno Plus has already seen super star Beyonce perform 4 shows on it's opening Memorial Day weekend and will see more acts like Nickelback, Journey, Seal, Def Leopard, and Duran Duran this summer.
