Despite a loss and a plethora of pitching woes, the future may look a little brighter for the Phils

The Phillies lost in a high scoring bout last night, 11-7. The loss was nothing new, especially in Citizens Bank Park this year, where the Phils have had horrible outings this year, but the way in which the game went possibly gave fans some light at the end of the tunnel. Chase Utley returned to the lineup for the first time since game 5 of the NLDS. If that wasn't good enough, he went 3-5 with a solo home run in his first at bat. To add to the list of Utley's positives, he looked to have a good amount of movement and range and on offense, he was on every single ball, as well as the ones he did not record a hit. Chooch did his normal thing, carrying the team on the offensive side of things. But it was good to see the Phils fight back. Down 8-2, the Phils came back to make 8-7. It was only until the pitching did their usual thing and wasted a perfectly good come back. Despite the loss though, the Phillies look to make a strong run in July.
