Eagle Owners Jeff and Christina Lurie to Divorce, Three Shot During Concert, Occupy Splintering

The owners of the Philadelphia Eagles are getting divorced. Eagle owners Jeffrey and Christina Lurie met in the late 80's, married and bought the Eagles together in 1994. The Lurie's claim they will continue to work together as partners and the divorce will have no impact on the care and feeding of the Eagles. So no fighting over who gets the team on Sundays.

Gunfire ended with three teens shot during last night’s big concert and fireworks display on the Ben Franklin Parkway. A 16 year old shot a 17 and 19 year old near 16th and the Parkway. Police witnessed the second shooting and cornered the gunman who leveled his weapon on the cops. Police opened fire, grazing him. All three are hospitalized and stable.

The Occupy movement is struggling to find a unified vision and may be splintering even more. The Philadelphia Occupy group had planned to draft an outline of the movement’s vision and read it yesterday, but it never got done. The group has no leader and members have become increasingly critical of their own group.

Sports
The Phillies will try to win the series tonight with Mets. Cole Hamels faces knuckle-baller RA Dickey.
