A Philadelphia police officer was struck by a vehicle in the city's Olney neighborhood last night near Olney Avenue and 3rd Street. The officer was making a traffic stop when the truck fled, dragging the officer. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition with injuries to his left foot. Authorities found the 2011 black Ford F150 unoccupied less than a mile from the accident. Police say the driver is a black male.

Philadelphia police are investigating a sexual assault involving a 10-year-old girl Tuesday afternoon. The incident happened in the 2400 block of South Lee Street. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 6’2” with a thin build and a moustache. He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and was last seen inside a white sedan.

An elderly man who went missing in Maple Shade Sunday night has been found. Police say 78-year-old Cyril Gomes was found at a hospital in Jersey City Tuesday morning. Gomes, who is from Hackettstown, NJ, went missing Sunday shortly after an argument with his daughter at her Maple Shade apartment. Gomes, who suffers from a severe heart condition, left the home on foot. It is not clear how he got to Jersey City or if he suffered any injuries.
