Authorities are investigating a possible attempted child luring in Skippack last week. An 8 year old boy reported that while he was playing baseball along the side of his house, an older model Dodge Charger stopped on the street in front of his home. The driver then yelled over at the boy asking him to come closer to help find something for the driver. The boy ran into his home and told his mother what happened.

The choral director at William Tennent High School in Bucks County was sent to Bucks County Prison this afternoon after surrendering to authorities to face charges of inappropriate contact with eight female members of the school choir. Tyrone Dinkins of Oreland, Pa., was committed to prison in lieu of $800,000 bail following arraignment on a host of charges. Dinkins, who has been a music teacher at William Tennent since 2001, was placed on administrative leave in early June after a student approached school authorities, who then contacted police.

The nation’s first museum dedicated to pizza is set to open in Fishtown next month. Guinness Book has already deemed it the largest collection of pizza memorabilia. Named Pizza Brain, it will have everything from records dedicated to pizza songs and pizza-themed comics to pizza-related art exhibits. Also available will be pizza offerings from regular thin crust pies topped with cheese and pepperoni, to even more unique creations. Pizza Brain is scheduled to open on September 7, 2012.
