Temple University has elected a new president. He is former Indiana University Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Neil Theobald. Theobald is Temple's 10th president and will take over on January 1st. In addition to overseeing multi-billion dollar budgets, Theobald has a Ph.D. in education and has classroom experience as a professor.

A Montgomery County man is comparing himself to Robin Hood stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Alston Buchanan is the ringleader under arrest today for stealing cable TV services from Comcast. He led a sophisticated ring of thieves who charged cable customers a one-time fee, and then hacked Comcast's billing system and reduced hundreds of customers? bills by about 60% each. The scheme added up to Comcast losses of about $2.4 million.

The Black Madam is back in court today. Padge Winslow is charged in the death last year of a 20 year old British tourist after injecting silicone into her buttocks in a hotel room near Philadelphia International Airport. Winslow faces 3rd degree Murder, Conspiracy, and Reckless Endangerment charges.
